Georgie Porgie’s Treefort Restaurant Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Pretty good burger joint, worth a look because of their outstanding ice cream. I've frequented Georgie Porgie's quite a bit on some warm summer evenings when they've had their popular classic car show going on. I cannot say if the burgers have changed as previous reviews have described. I've had the Porgie Burger a few times and it's pretty good, not great. It's pretty pricey too. The ice cream/custard on the other hand, is TOP NOTCH. I'd put it at probably a close 3rd in the area (Kopp's and Leon's). The shakes are incredible as well. The food might get you in the door, but it's their frozen treats that will make you come back. If you choose to check this place out, come on a Saturday evening during the summer to check out the car show. Literally 100 cars show up from all eras and it adds to the experience. Heck, you may even get to see some guys pick up a dead cat in the road and toss it in some cattails by the roadside ditch (yes that really happened haha). GP's is worth a try if you're in the area.

5 stars for being unique and offering an alternative to fast food chains. Always happy eating here. It kills me to hear people compare prices between these family owned places to chains like Culvers. In my opinion, if you can't/won't pay the extra couple bucks for handmade fresh ingredients than you should've just stayed home. I know burgers aren't health food but I would rather spend a little extra for freshness. Is this place more expensive than Corporate Culvers? Who cares, this family puts money back into your community. Support local business!!!!

I have been coming to this place since I was three. Yes, there have been changes over the years, but hey everywhere changes. I love they're miss sticks- they are wrapped in wonton wrappers. My favorite burger is the beer cheese-it's delish I can barely eat the whole thing. Their ice cream is also delish! I love their Sunday of the months creative favors you don't find everywhere. The decor of the place is also awesome.

Fun, local burger place. Was in the neighborhood for a business meeting, though I'd check it out (after good Yelp reviews). I had the pizza burger, hamburger with one of their cheese rolls on it with marinara sauce. Pretty good. Fries ok, nothing special. If I'm in SE Wisconsin area again, I'd check it out again.

Great place to take your family. Sit upstairs in the tree fort. We had the chipotle burger and the mushroom & Swiss burger. Very tasty. Going back tonight for dessert :)

This is Oak Creeks best kept secret. I stop by at least once a week and am never dissapointed. The sundaes are huge and last me two days. I love me some georgie porgies :-)

Great for friends or family dinning experience. Lots of fun & delicious food. The Shroomy is my new favorite burger in the world. Their custard is praise-worthy and keeps me coming back for more. The staff is very friendly & the family that owns it makes you feel like one of their own. The Oak Creek location is worth the drive!

The french fries are standard fast food fare. Good, crispy, salty. The burgers however are fantastic. I had the beer cheese pretzel burger and it's probably the best burger in Oak Creek. Can't wait to go back and try the sundaes!

I really like the concept here. They care about family values and quality product. When you walk in it is literally a tree house with old fashioned toys. It's very cool. Though it is small, the food is of great quality and size. It just has a really nostalgic, cozy feel.

The kids (ages 2 and 18 months) ate here for the first time and we are definitely fans! Everyone was very nice, lots to choose from on the menu (but not overwhelmingly so), and the food tasted great. The kids didn't seem to like the mini corn dogs very much, but kids can be picky. I had a hamburger and fries and it was great! I also had the Dirt Cake Sundae (Sunday of the month for May) and it was awesome and very nostalgic. Will be visiting again soon!

Fun little place with great atmosphere and friendly service. Food is average, not as good as Culver's.

The banana split was good and nicely constructed however the beer cheese and bacon burger looked like it was pressed flat by a steam roller. it didnt taste bad but it wasnt anything great for half the price you can get something better at Wendys tbh.

This is our go-to burger and custard joint. Burgers are always delicious, I normally opt for the burger of the month or the beer and cheese burger in a pretzel bun... yummmmm.... You can't go wrong with their custard.... The only one that has disappointed us was the nutty bar, which was lacking in amount of nutty bars (please fix georgies!). For sundaes, banana cream pie, funky monkey and pretzel mania are all fantastic.

I'm only going to give it 3 stars, because of its size. But I live in the area and Georgie Porgies has been the go to for custard. They make the most awesomest custard. In fact I had to stop because I was gaining weight. Their food is very good and pretty much one of a kind in this area. I know the two brothers that own it little Pete and big Lou, and they are very nice people and very concerned for the customers experience. They have a location in Racine also. Haven't eaten there. Oh, and looking at all the neat little old toys and memorabilia in the tables has always been a pleasure to me. Very family friendly.

great place for a quick burger always great comfort food and awesome ice cream but keep in mine the ice cream sundae are huge enough for two or more

Stopped hear after picking my sister up from the airport and found it to be really convenient except for the small customer dining/ordering area which was pretty crowded at that time. Good food for a fast food restaurant with some unique options, but probably better for carryout than dine-in, especially during winter months since their largest dining area is outside.

There is nothing that makes a former vegetarians heart beat faster than a giant cheeseburger and a chocolate malt. Tell me I can eat it in a tree house and by golly I am sold four times over. They added an enclosed out door patio space to help with the space issue. It's solid place. While maybe not the most inventive, it cures the old cheeseburger craving. I think their ice cream is fabulous when you're looking for traditional flavor combos. Something comforting about it. There are a ton of old fashioned malt shops in the area, this one will also be a standard in my rotation. The location gives me a nice Oak Creek option, a girl needs an ice cream parlor on each end of town. Although, I avoid Fridays in the summer months...Classic car show, I'm divorced for a reason.

Awesome atmosphere inside..reminds me of the young kid days. I only went in for the pumpkin custard which was DELICIOUS!!!! Ate it in a waffle cone which made it even yummy. I've also heard that they have phenomenal food and burgers.

  • Eileen G.

Awesome burgers and ice cream. Love the car shows every Friday night during the summer too. Be ready for a wait on those nights. The first thing i wanted to eat after coming back from Germany two years ago was their cheese fries. After coming back from the airport this was my first requested stop. Prices a bit high, but for the quality it's not too unreasonable. They also offer coupons in the mail now which help out a bit.

It pains me to say so, but this place isn't what it once was. I used to work there in HS and happened to be in the area on my way back to Chicago. When I walked in the place definitely looked different. The treehouse theme is actually pretty cute and well executed, but that was about where I stopped being impressed. I went in looking for the classic Georgie Porgie burger that I remembered and my mom wanted one of their Chicago Style hotdogs. We were instead met with a menu of pictures of things we didn't recognize (and I'm the first to admit that I HATE photo menus ...I CAN read, thank you). I ended up trying a Beer Cheese Pretzel burger and my mom had a Malibu Chicken sandwich. Both were mediocre at best. Mine tasted like beer (and nothing but), waz an oozing mess and looked nothing like the picture. For 2 so-so sandwiches, a shared order of onion rings and 1 soft drink the total came to $18.99. Not worth it. I know that sometimes places change, but why tamper with a stellar menu? This used to be the best place around. I'm guessing that George and Dina retired and their kids are running it now and trying to put their own unique spin on it. For a Friday night, it wasn't nearly as busy as I remember it once being, and that's a shame. In all, the experience was disappointing.

Burgers are filling and malts are okay. Good for a random Oak Creek establishment. And prices are good... less than $20 for two people.

  • Annemarie D.

I had a chicken sandwich. I forgot what they called it but it had bacon and cheese on it. That's a match made in heaven, of course. I also got mozza sticks. They were wonton wrapped. I like breaded ones more but they were good. The fries were really great. The place is a bit small. I enjoyed the old games and toys that they used to decorate the place. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop.

Stopped in here recently and my visit made me ask my self one simple question..."Why don't I come here more often?" Everything I've had here is better than your normal fast food slop! Burgers are hot and Juicy with great toppings. The Ice Cream is wonderful. The Onion Rings are the best I've had. I pledge to make this my "go to" Burger place from now on. At least until I forget again. Getting old is hell!

I can't believe that we've lived a couple cities away from this restaurant and didn't know about it. It's a small burger/ice cream restaurant with a tree in the middle of the restaurant. They also have a cozy heated outdoor patio. I order the guacamole burger with fries. Mmmmmm. It was great. It's always fun to find a unique restaurants to take the family. This is one of them. My kids said they have the best orange cream soda ever!

  • Paul B.

I drove about 4 miles from my airport hotel to check this place out based on other Yelp reviews. Definitely not disappointed. This is a really cool little place, they have natural sweetened house sodas, I hade the root beer and it is phenomenally good. I ordered the Beer Cheese and Bacon Burger on a pretzel with frys, and it was scrumptious. The Wisconsin Beer cheese was unbelievable, and to boot the pretzel bun was perfect. To round out this dining treat, I had a Choco Pretzel Mania Sundae with homemade custard. Boom!

  • Chris T.

Love the tree fort atmosphere, Hershey Syrup Can lights, go cart hanging from the wall, tree in the middle of the place, can speakers, tables that have old fashion toys inside them, outhouse styled restroom doors, heated patio, everything is wonderful! Even a TV for the children and in the summer they have car shows. The food is tasty, huge serving sizes. The fish fry is amazing, best tarter sauce ever! The mozzarella sticks are unique, pizza burger is scrumptious, chicken sandwiches are great, salads are huge and tasty and the burgers are are a nice size. It is nice that you can choose what type of bun you want your sandwich on, I love the wheat, it has lots of grains and seeds on it. The sundaes come in multiple sizes, the medium is huge. The large is massive! They have a flavor if the day. Each month has a Burger of The Month and Sundae of The Month.

Georgie Porgie is a place that I had no idea about... It's my coworkers. I'll preface by saying one of them only eats carbs and meat, never ever any vegetable (fries don't count). So, I accept my fate and hope for the best! We pull up to what is mostly a giant parking lot but then in the back a flashy sign like a kids indoor waterpark. You're here! There's an outside heated patio that's enclosed. Cool. But we didn't sit there. Inside it's small and then I realized this is basically a fast food joint. Dude 1 orders a cheeseburger w fries. Dude 2 orders gyro (hey! They have gyros!) The fry side was a giant basket. Good enough for two. Dudette... To keep the theme (i.e. moi) not much about fast food sees a sign that's says "worlds best fish tacos". Well shit - yo! It IS Friday! Gimmie some o dat worlds best fish. Oh and I felt like being extra naughty with a side of onion rings. Totally not worth it, kids. On a scale of 1 to 10 those onion rings had an excitement level and taste of a .5. But, back to the worlds best. The fish tacos come on flour shells. (wa-wuh) I usually prefer corn and at least a question of which I want. Since this is fast food, they must only have one choice. And if not the choice, then the next thing I prefer for flour, is that it's a warmed flour shell and a chewy texture. This was not. Room temp and drier. Boo. Now, the sauce was great! Nice spice level! A little crunch with the cabbage that was not over-dressed. Fish was good. One bigger deep fried piece but not excessively greasy. Pretty decent! Best in the world, no fast food joint could be -- so I don't much appreciate the exaggeration, however not bad! Definitely skip the onion rings. Save the calories for something yummy :) And try the "mystery soda". I'm not going to say what it was but I mixed it with another soda to make a good flavor combo!!

First experience here after opting for something a bit quicker than a sit-down restaurant on the way back from Chicago. Georgie Porgie's is in an out-of-the way shopping "center" near the outskirts of Oak Creek, bordered by a defunct bank and a liquor store. There's a nice kid-friendly touch to the interior decor and overall vibe of the place. It was quite hopping but we were greeted promptly and had a bag full of food in less than 7 minutes. I opted for the Burger of the Month -- a single patty topped with macaroni and cheese and crisp bacon. Holy amazeballs...the patty was thin and slightly crispy on the edges without being overcooked, the macaroni and cheese soft and gooey without being too messy, and the bacon added an extra salty dimension. A near masterpiece. My wife chose the Guacamole Burger, which looked tantalizing except for the slathered grease that dropped upon first bite. I meant to ask her how it was but before I could she had taken it down like a champ. Fries were just average, shoestring (thin) cut. The soda choices advertised being made with natural sugar, whatever that is. Rootbeer was spicy and had a nice kick! We did not try the ice cream, custard, or sundaes -- by the time we wolfed down our burgers, the place got a bit busier thanks to a classic car show/concert happening right outside in the parking lot. I am not sure what to think of the cleanliness; there were a lot of fruit flies/etc. inside -- and at $22 for two people, it was a bit more than I'm willing to pay for "fast casual" food. 3 solid stars. Man, that burger was delicious.

Hands down the best place to get frozen custard east of South 27th on this side of town. With that being said, this review will only be on the frozen custard since I skipped lunch both times I was here, but the menu has intrigued me so much I will stop in soon for a burger. When I do, I'll be sure to update. The best way to describe Georgie's is burgers and custard, but with interesting twists. Speaking of interesting, it seems as if this restaurant was designed after the dearly departed and well eulogized owner George's childhood treehouse. It's decorated top to bottom in vintage toys. Very cool. It gives you a ton of stuff to look at while you clog your arteries. They were playing Frozen on the TV here when we stopped in. Was I wrong for singing along with Olaf's Summer song? Speaking of Frozen, they offer outdoor seating here pretty much year around. When we were here, it was a balmy 35 degrees and windy yet people were still eating comfortably outside in the heated tent thingee. Georgie's features a different flavor of the day everyday but I've always opted for the specialty sundaes. My first time around, I had the Drumstick Sundae and it was terrific, the Funky Monkey I had tonight might be my top sundae ever. Bananas and Hot Fudge are awesome on their own, but when you add peanut butter cups it becomes incredible. The menu is loaded with about 8 of these specialty sundaes, plus you can build your own. Thumbs up for doing creative things with custard. The custard itself isn't exactly Kopp's or Leon's, but it's still really good. It's thick and rich but doesn't have the creaminess of the aforementioned custards. Very smooth and flavorful. There's a freezer full of pre-packed pints and quarts that's full of flavors like tiramisu and blueberry pie amongst other flavors that aren't commonly offered at other custard joints. Awesome custard and I'll be sure to stop every time I'm in the area.

In the land of meat & dairy there are many places vying for the blue ribbon in the burger & custard department. Georgie's has the extras that make it #1 for the south suburbs. My sweetie and I were having a work day lunch and South Milwaukee (the work place) holds absolutely nothing of interest to me. So, to the yelp! and yawp! Lookie here, Georgie captured my imagination and delivered. The burgers: thin, cooked just right and smothered in a bounty of tasteful delights. I'm recovering from a cold, so I haven't been able to taste much for a week or so. Having the chipotle burger was a joyous return to the tasting world. The menu is not huge, but has just the right amount of creative and yummy choices to satisfy. The interior is adorable with a big old "tree" serving as the center and focal point for the dining area. The soda is options are even fun! I can't wait to go back with my kids.

Nice place to have a burger and fries. Ice cream is delicious with a unique flavor each day. They have pretzel bun option for all burgers. The fries are spectacular!!

Moist juicy hamburgers (drool worthy). Funny thing is I don't normally eat burgers :) Georgies has a special spot in my heart where I will willingly set aside any calorie counts, portion control or self control for a bite of their heavenly burgers. Mushroom burger? Bring it on. Cheeseburger? Yes. Dessert after swallowing a burger or two in a few bites? You betcha! Definitely try the custard at least once. The cows that were sacrificed for these burgers would be okay knowing that they went into a Georgie's burger and not Mickey D's.

Been here many many times & never disappointed. Today was no different. Georgie Porgie's Burgers, Gyros & Custard are second to none!!! Looking for a healthy option? Their salads are also outstanding!! Together with it being family owned & operated with great fun service, it has become one of our entire families favorite stops.

Cool concept, but really small place. Nice retro decorations and a tree in the middle of the restaurant, with Hershey's syrup can lights (see pic) and other nice touches; I can really see this working on a much larger scale than the small space here in an Oak Creek strip mall. Ordered the A1 burger and the burger was cooked so dry, it was a shame. The rest of the ingredients were good, but med to med well is best for a burger, and nobody's getting sick, okay Georgie Porgie's? They are famous for their burgers but there is a lot on their menu from a gyro, to salads, to chicken tenders. Our huge group was all pretty satisfied, which is a feat with a large family. We had a large group and a large order. Was not happy with the counter girl when she blamed my mom on an ordering mistake that cost us a few bucks. Blaming a customer? Can't expect to be in business long if your young staff can't sugar coat customer service.Training young counter staff in handling mistakes is crucial, and my mom's a sweet lady, besides. 2 Star service, 4 star atmosphere, 3 stars all day on Georgie Porgie's.

Oak creeks hidden gem!! This place is small and cozy, nice outdoor patio. (Heated ). Family friendly. Took the kids out for custard (best I ever had) and I think this is my new favorite place in Milwaukee county. The employees are amazingly friendly, very clean establishment. I'm definitely coming to check their burgers they look amazing.

Great overall. Burgers are tasty. I had a burger on a pretzel bun and I ate it in under a minute! Wonderful burger. Kids corn dogs were good according to my 4 yr. old. I has the best ice team sundae. Only complaint is the lack if seating. Please open a restaurant in Muskego!

I have been coming here since before the remodel. Service is always solid, and they make great chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks, but neither of those are that hard I suppose. I really love their carmel milkshake, can't get enough.

Like getting back together with your Ex after an extended break - so much feels sooooo good, including the comfort of knowing so much about one another - but then you discover she joined a cult - now, it's good enough that you may go back cause you can, but honestly you're going to keep looking because the best of what made her special is gone. So here's the deal, we moved to Carmel IN. We come back to town to hit a little GP, and what do I find: GP's changed the size of its meat in its burger. I hit them twice in 1 day at both locations trying to prove myself wrong (hey, I work out a lot; I get hungry). Both locations; same burger, same wimpy meat patty. Times are tough; costs are up for everyone; I get the need to take a price increase. I understand the strategy of trying to make pricing transparent to the consumer through size and portion tactics. However, GP was never the cheapest fast food burger in town; it was simply one of the best. The deliciously thick, juicy meat patties served as the cornerstone of its burger awesomeness. You can't change that recipe without a dramatic impact. Now your palate has to work harder to distinguish the flavors of the meat from those of the condiments, bun, etc - it's not a burger out of balance, but it's clearly not what it once was. Quite simply, I'd rather pay a $1 more for my old burger. Will I be back? Probably. The frozen custard is still great. But what I loved most is but a shadow of its former glory.

Good quality food! I have never been disappointed! The seating area could be bigger, but there is a patio in the summer. The Racine restaurant is larger. Two thumbs up!

10 words: Double bacon cheeseburger with cheese fries and a chocolate malt. It's not just for heart disease anymore. Awesome burgers, great sides and wonderful custard. The restaurant is made to resemble a tree house, complete with tree in the middle and vintage toys on the wall. Pretty unique and almost shockingly different from what you'd expect from a small place in a nondescript strip mall.

Good burgers, chili, and salads. Prefer takeout because the place is pretty small. Good for kids, especially in the summer when you can make full use of their play areas. Best burgers in Oak Creek for sure.

I'm in love with this place! So cute inside, love the concept. My husband could not contain his excitement the entire time we were there, because anything with that type of food, with all those sundae options AND homemade soda is where it's at in his eyes! I had the Porgie special burger I think? Special sauce on it made it work. Yum! And it was huge! Was this the best burger I have had, I'm not sure. But I think it beats Kopp's, that's for sure. My husband had a Cowboy Chicken sandwich (he can't eat red meat and was thoroughly impressed with all the chicken options). He loved it! And the custard, freaking outstanding. You know it's good custard when you can eat just the vanilla, here you totally can. I got the Key Lime Pie Sundae, and I swear I could eat about 15 of those in a row. Husband got the S'more, which he loved, but he required more, so he picked out 2 more quarts, Pineapple Upside Cake, and I can't remember the other. He promptly went home and ate them both! My favorite was definitely the sundae, his was the house made Blue Raspberry soda. And the custards. And the sandwich. Who am I kidding, he loved it all! We will be back, in fact, my husband's probably there right now, main-lining the soda and taste testing all the custard creations;)

  • Jeff W.

The food is kind of high priced for being just a fast food joint. Overall though I love this place and keep coming back. The burgers are amazing, and the ice cream sundaes are the best. They did get my order wrong at one point, when I brought it up they not only fixed the order, they also gave me a $5 gift card!

The apple pie custard is one of the most delicious desserts ever! I had the grilled chicken pita and the marinated chicken was tasty and cooked to perfection. The basket came with fries and olives and feta, for a little Greek influence. The dining room is a tight squeeze, especially in the winter but there is a nice, covered, outdoor seating area for the summertime. The place is cute and is supposed to feel like you are in a treehouse. Bring your kids, I think they'll enjoy!

i rolled through town to pick up my dad at the airport and decided, after reading the reviews, to stop at georgie porgies. smack dab in the middle of a dank strip mall, the interior decortations literally lit the place up (stocked full with even a life sized tree in the center of the joint). i had a veggie mushroom burger and while the burger could have been a bit hotter (tasted almost like it was microwaved versus grilled), the burger itself was ok. the mushrooms seemed canned and the cheese was hard (aka not melted at all). my dad got an original and had no complaints. we also shared a family sized onion rings and they were pretty ok too. the one turn off about this place is that it's staff (at 830pm) consisted of about 4 local teens chatting away about their love lives and facebook profiles. it took about 2 mintues for them to stop laughing to even acknowledge us at the counter ready to order and as we ate our dinner, we overheard at least 2 of them ask each other what time it was (aka 'these people are cutting it close and might make us stay later than we want). all in all it was an ok place to eat, but next time, i think we might try one of the many other places to eat in oak creek.

Man I miss this place! I even remember the good ol days when it was located across from the OC high school. First of all the custard is dee-lish and you can get any number of pre-packed pints in the cooler to take home. You Wisconsinites should appreciate that you have custard, it just doesn't exist in other parts of the country. Next the food is great! Like others have said, the burgers are great but I would also say to try the pita plates, they are huge and amazing, that's what I always go for. I'm not sure why the website link isn't on here so here you go georgieporgies.com/menu/…

I'm a burger fanatic.. So I do love this place. I've never had a bad experience here, and they've never screwed up an order. The food tastes great and has it's own uniqueness to it. The wait time is always good, especially for food that is made fresh. The inside atmosphere and decorations are very fun. It could be a bit bigger inside but the outdoor patio does make up for it.

We liked Georgie Porgies so much that we went 3 times in one week. We were camping down the street at Jellystone campground. It will run you $15-$20 for 1 adult and 2 kids, but it was worth it. The food is top quality and very tasty! EVERYTHING here is delicious and made with care. I had the gyros and it was GOOD! I'm particularly partial to the earthquake custard (chocolate custard, pretzels, peanut butter and chocolate pieces). It's similar to Culver's food, but much better. The decor is very interesting with a tree in the middle of the restaurant and carved tables. If only every restaurant was done this well!

This place is AMAZING! Burgers are juicy, onion rings nice and crispy and the ice cream is to die for. Great place for kids. They have tom and jerry playing on the tv, it does get super busy during lunch hours on the weekends, but that tells you that all the locals come here to eat with their kids. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

If you like Georgies in Oak Creek, try the newer, larger one in Racine. Super cool upstairs "tree house" and lots of fun little things to discover around each corner. The one in Oak Creek is smaller, but still a real treat to visit and explore. BTW - did I menton they have great burgers?

Georgie Porgie's is the unlikely name of a great little custard stand on the far southeast side of Milwaukee/Oak Creek. Known for their good food and great custard, GP has a nicely designed (though somewhat small) interior with some interesting decor. Great place to stop for a bite if you're looking for something unusual, though if there are lines, be prepared to wait. Popular enough that they recently opened a second location, haven't tried that yet.
